Prior to attending law school at Louisiana State University, Matt worked as an engineer for Spirit AeroSystems in the area of aerodynamics. Matt attended Duke University for his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering and graduate work.

John Swingle
Admitted to Practice Law: Florida, California, and Virginia
After graduating from Harvard Law School, John spent three years in California as an associate in one of the country’s largest intellectual property law firms drafting and prosecuting provisional and non-provisional patent applications. John has since represented both plaintiffs and defendants in connection with intellectual property litigation as well as counseled a number of clients regarding a wide variety of intellectual property matters, including patent infringement, patent claim invalidity and commercialization issues.
John earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University in electrical and computer engineering. John is admitted to practice law in Florida, California and Virginia and is licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
